Pikler Climbing Frame, Factory Seconds

$195.00 Including GST

Looking for a Pikler climbing frame NZ that’s both beautiful and practical? Our Montessori-inspired climbing frame features a mix of wooden rungs and flat steps, offering varied tactile experiences as little ones develop their climbing confidence. Thoughtfully designed for real homes, it folds flat for easy storage — with no plastic knobs or bulky fittings to interrupt play. Pair it with our Ramp and Slide to extend your child’s movement, exploration, and open-ended fun.

Why we’re selling a few frames as seconds
Plywood has an “A” face and a “B” face — the B side often includes small patches or inserts to cover natural knots or imperfections. We do our best to position these where they won’t be seen, but occasionally they end up in more visible spots. While these minor marks don’t affect safety or function, they don’t quite meet our visual standards. Rather than let these beautiful, well-made frames go to waste, we offer them at a discounted price as factory seconds.

Description

Pikler Climbing Frame NZ – Designed for Real Play

Looking for a beautifully crafted Pikler climbing frame NZ parents actually recommend? Our unique design features both traditional wooden rungs and flat steps, offering varied tactile experiences that help toddlers build balance, strength, and climbing confidence.

Natural Materials, Made to Last

We finish our climbing frames with a natural hard wax oil — not synthetic plastic coatings like polyurethane. This child-safe, non-toxic finish soaks into the wood, allowing it to breathe and develop a warm, rich patina over time. Every scratch and scuff is part of the story: real play, real growth, and real joy.

Thoughtfully Designed for Kiwi Homes

Our Montessori-inspired wooden toddler climber is foldable for easy storage, making it ideal for homes where space matters. It features no plastic knobs or exposed fittings, giving it a clean, elegant look that blends naturally into any play space.

Built for Montessori-Style Movement

Inspired by Emmi Pikler’s approach to independent movement, this climbing frame supports open-ended, child-led exploration. Pair it with our reversible Ramp and Slide for endless ways to move, climb, and play.

Each frame is made right here in Aotearoa using safe, high-quality birch plywood — built to last and crafted with care.

Colour Variations (Why Yours May Look Slightly Different)

We work with multiple trusted suppliers to source the best birch and HPL birch plywood available in New Zealand. Due to variations in local stock and international supply, slight colour differences may occur — but every frame is held to the same high standard of quality, durability, and finish.

Suitable for:
Children aged 1+ years

Materials: Birch plywood, HPL birch plywood and Radiata pine dowels.
